Pastoral Letters are weekly communications from our church pastor to the congregation.  They are mostly original reflections on the Word of God in response to church events or current affairs, local or beyond, with the primary intent to exhort Christians to live rightly before God in the real world.  Short bibliographies are sometimes featured towards the same end.

We pray that these writings will be a great blessing to you!

Being Reliable in Service

At this time we are probably about a week away from moving into our new premises. I shall address two concerns. This week, I want to address those who serve in Sunday ministries printed in the duty roster. The leaders are very encouraged by your willingness to serve the Lord—almost...

The recent durian bumper crop makes durian lovers very happy. Not only are durians affordable, more importantly, they taste very good. Some of us were so delighted that if we knew of someone who were looking for good durians, we would recommend certain stalls to them (despite not receiving a...

Testimony of Salvation

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; the old has gone, the new is here” (2 Cor 5:17). If you humble yourself before the Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledge that you are a sinner, ask Jesus to forgive your sins, and receive Him as your Lord and...
