Pastoral Letters are weekly communications from our church pastor to the congregation.  They are mostly original reflections on the Word of God in response to church events or current affairs, local or beyond, with the primary intent to exhort Christians to live rightly before God in the real world.  Short bibliographies are sometimes featured towards the same end.

We pray that these writings will be a great blessing to you!

A Gospel Month

December is a holiday month when many would take leave from work, students rest from their studies, and some may even travel overseas despite Covid-19! Thank God for the needed rest. In fact, the Teacher in Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 says, a person can do nothing better than to eat and drink...

Where Will You Go after You Die?

Where will you go after you die? “I’m still young. This question is not for me.” You mean you are very sure you will not die tomorrow or one week later? Surely you have heard of young people who died suddenly, people who were healthy. Over the last few years,...

Men Whom God Raised Up for the Reformation

On 31st October 1517 Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on the door of the church of Wittenberg. His theses refuted some of the most erroneous teachings of the Roman Catholic church of the 16th century.  This Protestant Reformation later swept across Europe and revived the Christian world: it started...

Tree of Life Christian Church subscribes to Reformed Theology. This label is derived from the theological emphases of the 16th century Reformation movement. It...
